Y'know...and somebody may have said this already, I don't know...considering the Marshalls only had, like, ONE set of precious clothes each, wasn't it kind of strange that the dad easily, even chucklingly let the Pacunnis have Holly's jacket just because they liked its smell? I mean...considering how rare clothes were, and all...kinda weird.
Even if she outgrew it they could have turned it into a snack-carrying pouch or something. And why be intimidated by Pacunnies when they want something?!

I don't know about you, but I would have probably liked the smell of Holly's jacket too, and I'm not even a pakuni!!!

I just thought of something-maybe since Chaka was a black belt in karate, the other Pakunis were too...and that's why whatever Chaka wants...Chaka gets....(sing to the tune of "Whatever Lola wants...Lola gets")

Chaka pretty much pissed me off. If that little monkey kept continually stealing my food, trashing my cave, and generally being an a-hole, I would have thumped the son of a bitch. And all those huge strawberries they fed to their little dinosaur friend!!!! Meanwhile Marshall is back at the cave almost dying of a broken ankle or something. The show didn't make a whole lot of sense, but the Sleestacks scared the crap out of me - gave me nightmares...

No, I'm NOT a pedephile! I'm simply stating that back in 1974-76, when I was in my early
teens, I had a big crush on Kathy Coleman! I
laughed when I read your question, so I certainly hope it was asked in jest. It's fun to re-live some of the old feelings I had as a kid. I'm sure there are others out there that agree with me. That's the main reason this web site is so popular. I mean, it's because Land of the Lost and it's characters meant so much to us as kids that we all come to this site in the first place
right?

Wonder if Will, Dad and Holly ever tried to recover the jacket? Probably it would have been indigestible, and could have been recovered after the tyrannosaurus passed it. Though it would have had a less pleasing smell after that.

In all this talk about their clothes, isn't it strange that after all their escapades, their clothing never ripped or wore out? It's also incredible how Holly grew up between seasons & her clothing still fit? I think Enik must have snagged clothing through the time doorway from the other Marchalls that fell through the doorway in "The circle" episode. He must have owed the Marshalls a favor or two.

If we can figure out this mystery, then the same mystery of the endless clothing supply on Gilligan's Island may be solved too!

I took my wife into Suncoast to show her that LOTL was out on video right before X-mas. I picked up the video with Holly on the cover and said "look who I had a crush on when I was a kid"! I was suddenly struck by the amazing similarity of Holly's face and that of my wife! The guy at the video counter agreed with me. I didn't get the videos of course.
