I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the chances that all the LOTL episodes will be released on video are slim and none.
Too many episodes=too many tapes=one big ass boxed set=way too much money for the average consumer. At least that is what Rhino told me.
The chances for DVDs on the other hand, are way better. Why? Much cheaper to make, fit way more episodes on one DVD, cheaper price, you get the picture.
That being said, if we EVER want to see DVDs, we have to get way more people to sign up on the DVD forum. The people at Rhino told me input from the fans is a huge factor in deciding to make certain products, and an avalanche of DVD hungry fan mail is certain to help us out here.
So get yer butt over to the DVD forum, write your friends, tell your congressperson, shout it from the highest mountain..."WE WANT LAND OF THE LOST ON DVD!!!!!!!!!!"
And to think I don't even own a DVD player. Maybe they could sell a special Land of the Lost DVD player with the boxed set. A Flinstonesque faux rock finish, with blue, red and yellow crystals for the playback buttons.
OK, that's enough from me, I'm starting to sound crazed.
George
