How many votes do we need to convince them we want a boxed set?

Hey, George- How many votes do you think it will take to convince Rhino to release a boxed set? There are a lot of LOTL fans who want a set and will buy a set and it looks like it would be well worth the money to release a set. If we convince them, how soon do you think it will be?

Well, to make a DVD set with extra tracks, animated menus and all that cool stuff doesn't happen overnight. I would expect it would be 6 months at a bare minimum for a set of DVDs if they decided to have alternate narrative tracks, memorabilia, interviews, photos and things like that. Although I kind of doubt they would go to these extremes.

All they would really need to do for the videos is get the masters dubbed, create art for the boxed set and the individual tapes and roll it out. That could be a month and a half or less I would guess.

As far as votes go, it is really hard to say. I think the constant attention to this issue over time will see it through. If we never stop, they will have to make the boxed set just to shut us up!

Either way, let's keep at this, we'll get a boxed set yet!
