The Land Of The Lost: The Movie
The film they should make....

In the year 53,700 AD, long after man has become an extinct member of the planet Earth, a species known as Altrusians were on the top of the food
chain. The moons orbit has grown dangerously close to the Earth. In the Altrusian high council a debate was going on as to how best deal with the
impending doom.
A genius Altrusian scientist known as Enik was working with crystal technology. He was proposing the construction of a large 'Pylon'. Inside this
metal/crystal compound construction would be shielded a small 'Matrix Table'. This table with engineered small hyper crystals would hold the key to
shifting the moon back to it's proper orbit. Using time displacement these Pylons could be also used for exploring as well. The construction and use
of these devices had come under such scrutiny that the moon had been dangerously ignored.
Enik, in direct opposition to his counsel and society decided to take it upon himself to use the device to repair the moons orbit. He then planed to
destroy the controversial technology afterwards so there would be no debate.
Unknown to Enik a radical Altrusian group who called themselves 'Sleestaks' was preparing to steel the Pylon along with it's construction plans. Just
as Enik was attempting to repair the moons orbit, the hundreds of radical Sleestaks overthrow Eniks Lab and in the process alter the intended result.
A time rift opens taking Enik, the Pylon, and all of the Sleestaks to the Land of the Lost, literally a lost time in space and time. It's like a flickering
point in time. It exists in a loop. The blast of the temporal explosion was about 5 miles, the approximate circumference of the Land of the Lost. It
killed no one but pulled all organic life within it's range to the flickering point in time.
An unexpected effect of the blast was that it pulled in organisms in a 5 mile radius from not only the year 53,700, but also from years of the past as
well as the future. One of those years was 2009 AD. Rick Marshall, Will, and Holly were on a routine archeological expedition somewhere out in
Colorado. They were sucked into the multi layered, multi dimensional time rift.
Several other time periods from earth's past were also pulled in. Some of these contained Dinosaurs, some contained primitive man.
54,056 AD was also affected by the explosion. This is a Altrusion future ruled by a savage race of Sleestaks. The prediction of the future tear in time
had been predicted. A huge Sleestak army was ready and waiting for the tear to take place.
The Sleestak army is preparing to meet up with Enik and his Pylon construction plans. With his help
or without it they plan to construct several more pylons and use them to regain control of the Sleestak past. Once they learn of the Humans from the
far distant past they alter their plans to invade Earth in the year 2009. Holly, being the youngest, is captured to mentally reveal the secrets of human
society. Rick Marshall, and his son Will, with the help of Enik must work to defeat the Sleestak army before the earthly invasion occurs.
Using Eniks genius and Rick Marshall's ingenuity the small bunch with the aid of an unexpected Alien traveler also trapped in the Land of the Lost
devise a plan to use the Aliens Space ship power source to amplify a Pylon that Enik is commanding. The Sleestak Army is defeated but it costs Enik
his life.
Will manages to get Holly back before the Army is sent so far into the future that the Sun will have already gone Supernova and encompassed the
earth, killing the Sleestak Army.
In the end The Marshall family mourns the loss of Enik. They then find a lone pylon that the Sleestaks had left for them with the Matrix table left
open to earth of the year 2009.
The Marshall family returns to Earth and the doorway closes but the Pylon is also left behind and the Marshall's do not know how to operate it.
