Mine is The Pilon Express, that when Holly took a ride in a pilon, passing through different dimensions (?). That episode was very impressive to me at that time. I remember thinking (I was just a child) if those places wold make any sense in the story somehow.

I think my favorite in present memory (I haven't seen the episodes in years) is "Follow That Dinosaur." The Marshalls are following a diary of a Revolution-era soldier who it appears got out of the LOTL. As it turned out, he died trapped above a lava pit by the Sleestak and they find his bones.

Jay, "Follow that Dinosaur" was my favourite episode too! I found it so terribly intriguing, I just ate it up! Although I would have to say, "Pylon Express" and "Album" would have to come in a close second and third for me.

I can remember watching the episode "Elsewhen" when it aired in the 70's and thinking it was so cool because Holly comes back in time and talks to herself. To an eleven year old, this was very profound.

My favorite episode is "One Of Our Pylons Is Missing' I think is what it was called since my memory is not that good..

Mine would have to be "Circle" I think that is one of the best pieces of writing ever done for television.
"Follow that dionosaur" is a close second.
"Album" "Hurricane" "Elsewhen" "The Possession" "The Zarn" and "Split Personality" would all make Rod Serling proud.
Also I just bought the Harlan Ellison story he submitted to David Gerrold for LOTL's 1st season. David is in the process of getting it autographed for me, and as soon as I have it, I'll be sure to let everyone know about the the episode that almost was.

My favorite episode escapes me, maybe
my friends here can tell me which one
it is. I have had limited access to
any episodes besides the one I bought
from this site.

It was about a stranger who shows up.
He is comprised of lights and you could
only make out his form.

I know you fellow losties can help!

P.S. Let's start a newsgroup to post episodes
MP3s Ect. That would be incredible!

Enick, it sounds like you're talking about the Zarn. He appears in a couple different episodes, but debuts in the second season episode appropriately named "The Zarn." :o)

Sure wish i could find that one somewhere........

Dude (and I'm calling you that because it's your name, not because I'm being inappropriately familiar!), from reading your posts I'm getting the idea that maybe you don't realize that the entire series is now available on DVD. Take a look at the ads at the top of the screen. That's where you can find "The Pylon Express" and all the others. I apologize if I've misunderstood.

One of my all time favorites was "Follow That Dinosaur". In that one, not only do you find out how the sleestak came to be named but it was more of a "darker" episode then the rest.
The Pylon Express was also a great one. "One of our pylons is missing" would probably be my third favourite. That episode was just so bizarre, which is probalby why I liked it so much. :D
Cheers,

The Hole, S'Latch explains a lot about the Sleestak culture here, it's episode 9 on Season 1 dvd, he gives an interesting speech about genetic traits.

The thing that always slays me about "On Of Our Pylons in Missing" is that hysterical scene when Holly and Rick fall into the hole, and they're just little Barbie and GI Joe dolls dressed up to look like the Holly and Rick. Just part of the great charm of this show.

definitely a lot of chuckles on that one. Their arms and legs were not moving while their bodies flipped in circles. The last line when the picnic basket is spit out is also funny when the comment is made that even The Land could not digest Holly's cooking.
