View Full Version : Drinking with Spence Milligan
I got drunk with Spencer Milligan last night at a jug-bar. He lost a bet and had to to the chaka shuffle all the way down the bar. Slipping on someones pack of smokes, he fell and burned his ass-cheeks on the grill. If you call him zebra butt he'll think you were there.

that's crazy!! how do you come up with this stuff?..... You know the secret to opening the time doorway lies in Enik's eyes... if they only would've removed his crystal eyes from his sockets and placed them on the matrix table, then the door would open.....the raft would fall

Those aren't eyes there contacts! Enik really has black eyes like all the other Sleestak, but uses the red contacts to stand out on the dance floor. How else do you explane the fact that his vest matches his eyes?
Clearly it can be assumed that Enik has no parallel on the dance floor, and the medallion did it's work in getting the ladies back to the crib. Or the van...

Even better.... I bet he uses his Magetti to force his chicks into rubbing down his yellow love bunyuns <-sp? as he rips up the floor with his quick platform twist-step...he points his middle claw-finger at the nearest honey..and she approaches...slowly spinning his nifty red bracelet she asks of his Altrusian greatness...he replies......'it functions'.

This is my first time to the site! It is so cool! I had to make a comment about Spencer. I met him in a small town called Hemet. His mom lived there when I met him, about 16 years ago. Talk about a party animal. I think he downed 12 beers, in no time flat. Me and my boss had him come over to his house, (my bosses), where we all drank some more. He was a great person! Man, and can he hold his liquor. I guess I am surprised to hear that he still does. This site is so cool. I talk to people about Saturday morning cartoons, and sometimes ask, "did you ever watch, Land Of The Lost?" And alot of them actually say....No! And, my last comment. Me and my husband crack up whenever we see people who we think look like sleezaks! How about Marsha Clark? I'm sorry, I know that's not nice. But I wanted to share with the fellow LOTLers, my observations! Any how, Great site!

That would be too funny to see and try to imaginer too--seeing Specner Milligan do the Cha-ka shuffle all the way down on top of a bar--haha-lol http://www.landofthelost.com/ubb/smile.gif--At times some buddies and I can put down a few too--so, nothing wrong with that every so often.

Man its hard to believe that after spencer left the show that he would become as big of a star as Tom Hanks. See it pays to leave a hit show early, just ask Jeff Conaway.

I am not mad at Spencer for his leaving of the show, to me, that was his decision and if it made him happy to try other things, then so be it!. In fact, I was quite lucky enough to send him an E-mail and let him know what a great influence he ahd on my childhood and that I thought of him as a second "dad" to me. He even worte back and thanked me for sending him such a nice E-mail and letting him know what a good influence he was, he was really appreciative of those fans who remembered him as Rick Marshall from the show. He did not go into reasons why he left the show-(and those are his personal reasons, as I think and as I told him in my E-mail) I am just glad that he did the show for two seasons!
-I liked how JP said that Spnecer had to do the Chaka shuffle down the bar-that would be funny to see.
You know, I do remember as I think about it, Spencer had a tiny role in the long running series General Hospital-in the mid to late 1980's on ABC-he played a doctor and he did a one time role on murder, she wrote too with Angela Lansbury on CBS, at one time.
So if Spencer is happy with all that he done, be it if made it as a star or not-he will awlays be remembered as "Dad, Daddy, Rick Marshall" in the original Land of the Lost and with millions fans around the world, his name will be "kept" alive and going through our site here!

Spencer also did a great guest appearance on one of my other favorite 70's SciFi TV shows, "Logan's Run".
The episode was called "Judas Goat" and Spencer played a villager/guard named "Garth" who was one of the main protectors of the compound Logan, Jessica and Rem stumble upon. This episode first aired in 1977, so this would've been about two years after he 'escaped' the LOTL.
As a kid, when I first saw this "Logan's Run" episode back then, I always liked to think that this is where Spencer ended up after going through the doorway - he must've got bumped on the head 'cause now he called himself 'Garth' instead of 'Dad'. :D
There are some really cool screen captures of Spence from that episode here:

Great 70's SciFi stuff!!
