Since our last attempt at this got fouled up by an over anxious poster, lets try it again.

I actually got a call this morning from Kathy and I am heading up to meet with her this Sunday, so if you have anything you want to say to her, write it here and I will print out this forum and give it to her.

Also, be on the lookout for the Holly signed photos, coming very, very soon!

George

Hi Kathy!
You were my favorite character in the Land of the Lost. I was first drawn to the show because of the dinosaurs and landscape. Later, I developed my first crush on Holly. I still have fond memories of the show, and any time I see it, I relive my childhood Saturday mornings.
Hope you are doing well.
Timothy

Kathy,

Thanks for being so open to your fans. I look forward to reading your interviews on this site. I travel to the LA area frequently, and would love to stop by your store some time and say hello. What's it called, and where's it located? Take care.

Hello, Kathleen. My name is Kevin. I
am from Florida's First Coast!
Fernandina, Beach. FLA/GA border.
This is a unique opportunity to let you
know that LOTL made a strong impression on
my young mind 25 years ago. And those
feelings come back every Sunday morning on
TVLAND!
If you got to see it, what was your
impression on the remake of LOTL on ABC?
In 1992? And the new movie we have yet
to see from Disney or Krofft on LOTL?

I am glad to hear you are still with us
and are leading a good life.
We look forward to seeing current pictures
of you and the other cast members.
Maybe even a current 'family' portrait.

till then, take care.

Hello Kathleen,

By viewing these posts you can tell that you still are remembered by all of us Gen X'rs 25 years after LOTL went off the air, though we are getting older and our memory will start failing soon enough LOL..

I like to thank you on behalf of all us original viewers of LOTL you who for the most part gave us our first hollywood starlet crushes at our just starting to like girls stages..LOL,I would like to know your thoughts on what it was like being a child star and what you think about all that has happened to the child stars of the recent past,Dana Plato and Adam Rich (who we saw you met in a picture at a charity event in 1978) and are you glad you left hollywood and the limelight?

Best Wishes
Ray

Hey George, I'm so glad you decided to revive my idea about posting messages for Kathleen. I was worried it had fallen by the wayside! I'm really psyched that Kathleen will be reading our messages, this is such a great opportunity! I am also very much looking forward to autographed "Holly" photos. Anyway, here is my message for Kathleen:

Kathleen, I'm your #1 fan! As a young kid I thought Holly was the coolest, she was so brave, so much fun, and so pretty too. I always wanted to be trapped in the Land of the Lost with her! I hope your own journey through life has been an exciting adventure, and that you now find yourself happy, healthy, and surrounded by the ones you love. Please know that all your fans wish you nothing but the best for the future! :o)

Your Fan,

Frank

Ok, here's a question that you should have spent countless hours thinking about... If Holly Marshall and Annie Porter had a fight, who would win and why? This question came up recently. I went with Holly. Anyone who could slap around the Sleestak god can snap Annie Porter like a twig.

And now for my traditional shameless plug... When I first heard about a potentiall LOTL movie, I started thinking about what I would do if I were writing it. I'm sure if it happens, it would be with a new cast, and what they do at the end would probably be something that sets up a sequel. But I think the perfect movie would somehow involve all the original cast. So I decided to write a fan fic on the subject. I figured since it's been 25 years since the show started, and when we last saw the Marshalls, Will, Holly, and Jack were still stuck in the LOTL, my perfect LOTL movie would be the story of how these people got home. At the same time, I wanted to answer some questions that the show left us with, like, how did an adult Holly learn to use the doorways? What did she mean when she said that her family wouldn't always be there? What did Rick Marshall do when he got home? Did Uncle Jack do anything besides search for his brother on Earth? And more.

So I sat down and wrote a story which is intended to be a finale for the show, where the "present" is set 10 years after the show, and there is a major role for an adult Holly. If there were billings, I would say Holly would deserve second billing behind Rick Marshall in this story. So to end this shameless plug, and to ask you to read it, here's the link.

George can get you there since I know you aren't online.

Along with a life update on what Kathleen has been doing I have 2 questions:

Does Kathleen ever see her other co-stars and does she know what they are doing?

What is Kathleen's favourite LOTL episode?

Hey George! Did you get a chance to meet with Kathleen this Sunday? What's the latest news? How is she? What did she have to say? Did you show her the fan forum? Any word on the Holly photos? Details, man, we need details! :o)

kathleen,
seeing that so many child actors have had problems adjusting to the adult world, have you had similar experiences like armed robbery of taco bells, beating up transvestite hookers, and drug and alcohol problems, ect ?
